Staying active in the community, she is a member of the National and North Carolina Association of Realtors, Charlotte Regional Realtor Association and has been on the Education Advisory Committee since 2004 which she chaired in 2011 with previous tenures on the African American Diversity Subcommittee, Fair and Affordable Housing Committee, and Inspector Task Force. Volunteering for the Charlotte Ronald McDonald House and raising food donations through her clients and vendors for the Metrolina Second Harvest Food Bank is close to her heart. She has also been a Toastmaster since September 2012 holding the title Rookie of Year in 2013.
